It doesn’t happen everyday that a Chinese couple comes to India and celebrates their love. And that’s exactly what Ling and Zhang did! Although it was their very first visit to our country, they were pretty clear about their mission: To get an awesome photo-shoot! And this is where they met Our Wedding Chapter!
This was a whole new experience for both the parties since neither of them spoke a common language. But their combined determination, strong belief in love and a lot of hand gestures paved way for some amazing stuff! Our Wedding Chapter had less than a week to prepare for the shoot for which they had to prepare their equipment, concepts and finalize locations. It was not an easy task at all but the team eventually planned the shoot out over four days covering three cities!
Just the night before the first shoot in Agra, they went through some of the couple’s previous pictures to understand their chemistry and comfort level. The concept was to capture their fun and romance with a beautiful background in the culturally rich cities to give them some outstanding memories to cherish forever!
The shoot was scheduled for 5 am the next morning and lasted about 4 hours. Ling and Zhang were both very punctual. At 11 am, they left for the next destination which was still about 6 hours away. But it wasn’t all just work as the photographers sometimes found it very difficult to convey their directions to the couple which turned out to be very amusing! They had planned a few shots of Ling and Zhang running but they just wouldn’t know when to stop since they don’t understand English directives!
But just like their other shoots, the fun didn’t end there. The couple went on to dance to an Indian band at a Jodhpur fort clad in a Christian wedding gown, did a legit Dragonball Z kamehameha on the top of a Jaipur fort and even rode in a shared auto with the team wearing an Indian suit with a lehenga combo making some unforgettable memories for everyone.
Ling and Zhang came with love in their hearts and love is what we gave them back exponentially. Stories like theirs absolutely melt our hearts. Hope they melt yours as well. Share with us your wedding stories at firstname.lastname@example.org and we might just feature you on our next blog!
