Imagine being surrounded by azure waters, sprawling beaches and the company of close friends and family on the most important day of your life. Sounds like a dream, doesn’t it? Well, Krayonz Entertainment Pvt. Ltd brought this dream to life for a young couple in the lush locales of Bali. Spanning across 4 days, the wedding was full of fun and frolic, proving to be an unforgettable experience for not just the bride and groom but also for their guests present.
DAY – 1
The guests were specially flown into Nusa Dua and were welcomed in true Bollywood style with a party titled ‘Baliwood Dreams’ on Day 1. Guests came styled as their favourite stars at the venue which resembled a massive Bollywood movie set. A fun awards ceremony was held where trophies were given out to the Best Dressed, Best Couple etc while thematic party favours were given out.
DAY – 2
Day 2 had a Diamond themed sundowner at Nikki Beach. Guests were enthralled by LED drummers, stilt walkers, break dancers, atmospheric girls and an astounding fire show. Paris House Addict – a team of a DJ, Violinist and Saxophonist from Paris kept the guests glued to the dance floor until the wee hours.
DAY – 3
The 3rd day brought out the Punjabi side of the family with mehandi functions titled Funjabi All the Way. A flamboyant colourful set up adorned the event while guests were kept busy with the tarot card reader, jenga, masseurs, magician while pop stars Sukriti and PrakritiKakar kept on their heels, all day !
The night was given a regal avatar with a mughal themed event titled ‘Mughal-e-awesome’. Raging superstar brothers Armaan and Amaal Malik had the ladies swooning and dancing to their tunes!
DAY – 4
On Day 4- the finale ceremony saw the bride and groom arrive in a vintage car before stepping off to sit in the doli. A flautist set the perfect mood for the ceremony and the couple finally tied the knot against a spectacular backdrop of fireworks.
The reception held post wedding was hailed as the Royal Affair with guests coming dressed at their sartorial best, keeping in sync with the theme.
To capture this beautiful destination wedding we reeled in The Photo Diary headed by MonishaAjgonakar. The couple were very set on having a not emotional – fun filled video that captured the grand celebrations in full swing and captured the true essence of the grandeur and happiness and all the fun had by not only the couple but also the guests. We also got them on board for photography as all the functions of the wedding were very non-conventional and The Photo Diary is known for capturing photos in a very international style, whilst still keeping to the Indian taste.
The guests enjoyed the experience completely and especially appreciated the thoughtfullness behind the arrangements. Like the white and gold invite that came accompanied by Dholwaalas and a hostess or even the local SIM arrangements that were made on arrival in Bali. Also noted were the photo booth set ups at each event and the special salon designed for guests to have their hair and make up done before the events.
Commenting on the wedding, Mr. Achint Nag from Krayonz said “Weddings are no longer just a bunch of rituals for the bride and groom. Today, weddings mean so much more- they are an extension of a couple’s bond and they represent the love they share. Our job is not just to make it memorable for them but also for those who are a part of this milestone. At Krayonz, we go the extra mile in making experiences unforgettable. Not just the guests but even the entertainers and artists were flown in for the wedding. Whether the dholwaalas, catering team and pan mukhwaswala from Delhi to the Emcee, DJ and bartenders from Mumbai; every artist was specially sourced and brought in. Perfection lies in the details and we made sure we paid attention to even the tiniest of them. Whether it was customising a radio programme in the car for the guests en route to the hotel or keeping a box of dancing flip-flops on the dance floor, to ease the ladies from wearing those painful heels. We ensured every element of the wedding echoed their gratitude, be it the coconut water shells engraved with the couple’s logo or different night favours that ranged from Forest Essentials to treasure chests and exotic green tea ranges. We believe in making these little things ultra special because in the end, it is these little things that make the largest impact.”
